Information:
This costume didn't come out exactly as I'd hoped, but I liked it anyway. It is certainly one of my more comfortable costumes! I didn't take into account the jumpsuit was supposed to have a collar though, so I forgot to alter that part of the pattern, and I didn't finish the jacket so my mom had to do most of that (plus I kept messing it up when I tried) and the buttons were just safety-pinned on. I made the teddy bear patch myself, though, and sewed the entire jumpsuit except the zipper (which again I kept messing up) myself. I wore it to Connecticon 2005 and the premier of Serenity, the movie spin off of Firefly. I'm not sure I'll ever finish this one completely, or even if I'll wear it again, but I'd like to think I will because Firefly is one of my most favorite TV shows and if it ever comes back on the air or they make another movie I was surely celebrate in this costume!
