Information:
I was asked to play Winry this year in the Connecticon cosplay musical. At the time that I made and wore the costume I’d seen maybe half an episode of FMA, but was always anxious to see more. To my pleasant surprise, though Winry is physically JUST LIKE ME and also quite similar (except in temperament) to another mechanic character I love ^_^ (*cough*Kaylee-from-Firefly*cough*). I wouldn’t say I went very all out on this one: just a store bought jumpsuit I used for an old Kaylee costume, and an altered store-bought tube top, a red bandanna from the Army/Navy store downtown, some gloves from Wall Mart’s hardware section, and sandals I found in my mom’s closet. Since Connecticon I have actually seen the whole FMA series and the movie and LOVE it. I sincerely hope (and expect) to do a lot more Winry costumes in the future.

Also, sorry for the lack of pictures. Since I only wore it for a brief moment in the show and then at the rave that same night, I didn’t really get any pics taken of me in it at the con.
